The BC45Q is designed with LGA 775 socket and the Intel® Q45 Express Chipset/ICH10DO architecture to support next generation 45nm Multi-Core high performance desktop processors - Intel® Core™ 2 Quad, Core™ 2 Duo processors. When the Q45 Chipset couples with the Core™ 2 processor family, the overall system performance is significantly increased through optimized bandwidth up to 1333 MHz FSB. The BC45Q supports Intel® vPro technology for enhanced security, manageability and energy efficiency meeting the requirements of its target industries including enterprise security systems such as those used in major transportation depots, incoming automated cargo inspections, high pedestrian traffic areas, and border security.

The BC45Q features the Intel® GMA 4500 onboard graphics delivering an excellent blend of graphics performance and outstanding 3D video rendering required by the target industries for the BC45Q motherboard addressing a key lifecycle concern often tied to third party graphic engines with limited lifecycles. It supports dual display via DVI output up to 2048 x 1536 resolutions and VGA up to 2560 x 1600. The BC45Q also offers iAMT 5.0 support enabling IT engineers and technicians to remotely monitor, diagnose, upgrade, and maintain their systems to increase response time and reduce the system down time.

BCM’s BC45Q ATX motherboard is truly a full featured product offering something for all embedded or industrial applications but specifically designed for long-life embedded applications such as: Enterprise class security systems, Medical data acquisition systems, Industrial controller and automation systems, Industrial data acquisition systems, Enterprise government, military, or business workstations that are lifecycle sensitive, Network security systems and Self-Service or Checkout Kiosk.
